In the last two years, Target Malaria has conducted educational campaigns aimed at promoting a better understanding of malaria mosquitoes and of genetically modified mosquitoes. In 2022, the campaign focused on explaining mosquito anatomy, characteristics, feeding patterns, reproductive behaviours. In 2023, the campaign focused on explaining how genetically modified mosquitoes are developed. In 2024, the #MosquitoCountdown campaign was launched , an educational campaign across social media. Target Malaria also hosted a webinar for journalists to educate on the differences between dengue and malaria.
