New Stakeholder Engagement Officer

I am delighted to be joining Target Malaria as Stakeholder Engagement Officer. I will be based out of the Imperial College campus in Silwood, UK.  

I am a public health physician, with background in epidemiology and medical anthropology. For the past 9 years, I have provided scientific coordination for stakeholder’s engagement, alongside with technical assistance, program management and directed the implementation for clinical trials, mixed-methods studies and capacity-building programs in several West and Central African countries, as well as in France.

Prior to joining Target Malaria, I led on the harmonisation of multi-country engagement practices and anthropological research for the PREVAC Ebola vaccine trial in Guinea; and managed global and national relationships for various maternal and newborn health programs focusing on the integration of HIV, tuberculosis and malaria in antenatal and postnatal care in Chad, Niger and Togo at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

I have also contributed to the development of Safeguarding into the working environment and culture at my job and with partner institutions, a topic I believe is of crucial importance for global organisations and sits well within the reach of stakeholder’s engagement.

I enjoy collaborating with people from different expertise and using my various background to foster dialogue and the co-development of ideas and solutions; as well as finding ways to document and share successful engagement approaches.

I hold a medical degree from Lille 2 University, a MSc. in Global Health from Maastricht University and an MPH in biostatistics from Paris-Sud University. I’m French, of Chinese descent, and speak French, English and Cantonese fluently, although I cannot quite read the latter! Having family in Togo, I feel directly concerned by the global fight against malaria and join the team with high hopes.

I am a 20-years martial arts practitioner and enjoy spending a lot of time exploring new or haunting old food places with family and friends.
