Stakeholder Engagement
Wilfrid Meda joined Target Malaria in 2014 at the Institut de Recherche en Sciences de la Santé at the Direction Régionale de l’Ouest in Bobo-Dioulasso(IRSS-DRO) where he particularly worked with the different communities of the project research sites, the regional public authorities, the civil society for the understanding of the messages and the acceptance of the genetic modification technology in the fight against malaria.
Since 2021, he has joined the Stakeholder Engagement Team at national level where his engagement activities are focused with civil society stakeholders and informal sector actors.
A graduate in Sociology from the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, Wilfrid previously worked for several years as a stakeholder engagement expert in several NGOs and development projects/programmes in the fields of health, water and sanitation in Burkina Faso.
He is delighted to be part of research aimed at helping to eliminate malaria worldwide and save millions of lives.
