With a background in geography and communication for development, Mouhamed Drabo has nearly thirty years’ experience working with organisations such as the World Bank, the IFC, IFAD and various international NGOs. He is recognised for his expertise in institutional diagnosis, multi-stakeholder facilitation and capacity building.

For more than ten years at Target Malaria, he has been involved in designing and steering community engagement and grievance management mechanisms linked to research into genetic modification, at both global and pan-African levels, helping to build communities’ trust in this new technology. His aim is to make community engagement as crucial a lever as science in the elimination of malaria in Africa.
