Excited to join the fight against malaria 

I am excited to be joining the Target Malaria project based at the Uganda Virus Research Institute. With over 15 years of experience in successful programme delivery, I have always believed that effective health interventions are built on strong stakeholder participation, meaningful engagement and robust approaches to disease prevention and management.

My career journey has given me the opportunity to work across a range of health and development programmes, including HIV/AIDS, eye health, lymphatic filariasis, disability inclusion and menstrual health. These experiences have strengthened my passion for working with communities, stakeholders and decision-makers to support impactful and sustainable health initiatives. 

I hold a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Makerere University. I have also participated in several capacity-building programmes that have further strengthened my knowledge and experience in project delivery. 

As a National Stakeholder Engagement Officer at Target Malaria Uganda, I look forward to building meaningful relationships, supporting open and effective communication, and ensuring that stakeholders are well informed and actively engaged throughout the research journey. I am particularly excited to contribute to responsible innovation and inclusive health approaches as we work together towards a world free of malaria.
