Alexandre Quach is Stakeholder Engagement Officer for Target Malaria, based at Imperial College, UK. Since 2022, Alex has been providing support to Stakeholder Engagement teams involved in the project, contributing to the definition of community agreement models, capitalization of engagement methods and facilitating exchanges of good engagement practices between partners forming the consortium.
Alex is a public health physician, with background in global health and epidemiology from Lille, Paris-Sud and Maastricht Universities. He is passionate about building dialogue to co-develop ideas and solutions, knowledge exchange and ethical models of engagement that will contribute to the fight against malaria.
Prior to joining Target Malaria, Alex was Senior Research Associate at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, providing technical assistance, program management and stakeholder’s relationship for maternal and newborn health programs focusing on the integration of malaria, HIV and tuberculosis in antenatal and postnatal care in West and Central Africa. Prior to this, he was Medical Project Manager and coordinated study implementation, community engagement and anthropological research for the Ebola vaccine trial carried by the PREVAC consortium.
