Elle a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les cons\u00e9quences du changement climatique sur la sant\u00e9 publique proviendront principalement des impacts sur les interventions plut\u00f4t que de l&rsquo;expansion de la transmission &#8211; ainsi, par exemple, des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es pendant la nuit pourraient avoir un impact sur le temps pass\u00e9 sous les moustiquaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un article r\u00e9cent publi\u00e9 dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/journals\/lancet\/article\/PIIS0140-6736(22)01540-9\/fulltext#seccestitle430\">The Lancet<\/a> a not\u00e9 qu&rsquo;avec des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, les p\u00e9riodes plus propices \u00e0 la transmission du paludisme s\u2019allongeraient. Des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es et des pr\u00e9cipitations accrues pourraient affecter <a href=\"https:\/\/theconversation.com\/climate-change-affects-mosquito-behaviour-this-may-make-it-harder-to-end-malaria-in-south-africa-194066\">le comportement, le d\u00e9veloppement et le mod\u00e8le de distribution<\/a> des insectes comme les moustiques. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/chronicle\/article\/climate-change-and-malaria-complex-relationship\">Des \u00e9tudes<\/a> pr\u00e9sagent que ces changements ont le potentiel d&rsquo;augmenter les opportunit\u00e9s de transmission du paludisme dans les zones impalud\u00e9es, mais aussi dans les zones o\u00f9 la transmission \u00e9tait auparavant contr\u00f4l\u00e9e et dans les zones non impalud\u00e9es. M\u00eame une simple augmentation de 2 \u00e0 3 degr\u00e9s Celsius pourrait augmenter <a href=\"https:\/\/malarianomore.org.uk\/world-environment-day\">de 5 % la population vuln\u00e9rable \u00e0 la maladie<\/a>, ce qui \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 700 millions de personnes suppl\u00e9mentaires.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color\">+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cLe changement climatique pourrait exposer jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 8,4 milliards de personnes au risque de paludisme et de dengue d&rsquo;ici la fin du si\u00e8cle.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<cite>Wellcome &amp; The Lancet journal<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;ONU souligne qu&rsquo;il est difficile de quantifier exactement comment le changement climatique affectera la transmission du paludisme, car il d\u00e9pend de multiples facteurs, tels que la population et la dynamique d\u00e9mographique, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/chronicle\/article\/climate-change-and-malaria-complex-relationship\">la r\u00e9sistance aux m\u00e9dicaments, la r\u00e9sistance aux insecticides, les activit\u00e9s humaines comme la d\u00e9forestation et leur impact sur l&rsquo;\u00e9cologie locale<\/a>.<br><br>En fin de compte, la recherche note que l&rsquo;impact du changement climatique sur les moustiques est visiblement clair, mais l&rsquo;impact sur la transmission du paludisme n&rsquo;est pas encore enti\u00e8rement compris. Certaines \u00e9tudes montrent une augmentation potentielle des cas de paludisme tandis que d&rsquo;autres \u00e9tudes sugg\u00e8rent que le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/415905a\">changement climatique<\/a> n&rsquo;aura aucun impact sur le paludisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:8px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Une <a href=\"https:\/\/cdkn.org\/sites\/default\/files\/files\/Uganda_CC-economics_HEALTH_case-study_Briefing-Note.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00e9valuation par des experts du changement climatique au Minist\u00e8re de l&rsquo;eau et de l&rsquo;environnement de l&rsquo;Ouganda<\/a> a indiqu\u00e9 que le changement climatique est l&rsquo;un des nombreux moteurs du paludisme et que le fardeau du paludisme augmentera, en relation avec les changements de pr\u00e9cipitations, l&rsquo;augmentation de la temp\u00e9rature et la croissance d\u00e9mographique et conduira \u00e0 des co\u00fbts pour le pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:7px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En somme, avec le changement climatique et tous les effets potentiels qui en r\u00e9sultent, la poursuite des recherches sur les moustiques porteurs du paludisme et leur comportement en \u00e9volution restera essentielle pour garder une longueur d&rsquo;avance sur la maladie et aider \u00e0 mettre fin au paludisme une fois pour toutes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alors que les dirigeants mondiaux se r\u00e9unissaient pour la Conf\u00e9rence COP 27 en \u00c9gypte, l&rsquo;impact de la crise climatique sur la sant\u00e9 mondiale a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u00e9vidence.
